Dear Lorraine and Dan:

Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you so much for everything you did for our family in finding a new home for Shirley. We were getting frustrated and feeling totally overwhelmed by the process of finding a loving, caring placement for our relative. When you have never experienced such an ordeal, it’s difficult to understand how emotional, frustrating and time consuming finding a facility can be.

Lorraine, you were so helpful when you met us for lunch, sent us a list of referrals (which narrowed down the facilities and saved us major hours of legwork), together with links to violations received by each facility and made us more comfortable with the fact that we had made the right decision where Shirley was concerned.

None of us were eager to have Shirley placed in an Alzheimer’s facility so we were dragging our feet in taking action. Thanks for explaining that the longer we waited, the greater the possibility of something serious happening to our loved one and that we didn’t want to have to live with that guilt.

Shirley is now in a loving environment and is very happy and content. She has been there a couple of weeks and we can sleep at night knowing that she is eating 3 meals a day, taking her medication, and is being well taken care of.
